Why do I change my mind about things so often?

Question

One minute I want to stay in California and play in the desert on quads for fun and then the next minute I want to move to Colorado where my mom lives and enjoy the weather while feeling more sporty(since Colorado is very sports oriented). One minute I'm really passionate about one place and then the next I am passionate about the other. I don't understand why I can't pick one place and be happy. Any opinions?

Spend most of your time in one place and then spend your holidays in the other place.  Sorted.

consider long term ideas and reasons you want to be somewhere. what are your goals in later life, what is going to achieve that for you?

sit down and consider you're options. also consider costs, accommodation, work.
