For the last week or so, I have had numerous nightmares where I end up getting murdered. The dreams are not identical and vary from complete strangers to people I know trying to kill me. Im unable to sleep because im actually scared of what I might dream of. This has never happened to me before and it is very confusing. If anyone can shred any light of this I would be very grateful.

  1. You are over-reacting to all the horrors in the news all the time. Try to read more pleasant stories. You are secretly scared of the dangers in this world.

Before you go to bed this evening, read nice books, watch happy TV, listen to lovely music. Relax. Have a nice bath. Sing. Wipe any horrible thoughts from your mind.

    Good Luck.

  2. No offence but you need help.

  3. It sounds like you may be in fear of something - worried about something that only you know about but could have possible come back to you? If you have not seen yourself deceased & woken up before hand that should be the case then try to identify a link with what you've said from those that you know to fear of the unknown? The answer is in the dream & when you've cracked it they should end... Sleep tight - dont forget to check under the bed!...

  4. Weird... I keep having dreams of killing this one guy over and over different ways, different places. I use a different disguise, but it's been happening alot.

    Hm.

  5. I'm no expert but if this happened to me I would take it as a challenge. Why should you let your dreams frighten you, that is what you should ask yourself. Go to sleep hoping for this dream, and be ready to pull through it. This is a challenge and the only thing that can happen is you coming out stronger.

  6. May be that you live in Midsomer?

  7. Must be watching a lot of murder she wrote.

  8. You're probably hiding a secret and are scared of prople finding out and getting angry with you. Or maybe you just don't feel comfortable and don't trust people easily. Why don't you try to do something in your dream, like find an escape route. If you imagine that while you're asleep, you might not be murdered and these dreams might go away. Or just spend some time socialising and doing something fun with them, or do something helpful to them you'll feel happy, so these nightmares won't come. But on the contrary, if you dream of death, it means that something good will happen that's the opposite of death, like a birth, a marriage or a new friend, the more deaths the better, but it could be only for other people's death, not your own. I may be wrong, but that's my opinion.

  9. Ok are you feeling insecure about something in your life at the moment it could be that, also are you worried about symptoms you are experiencing right now due to illness.

I would say dreams of murder suggest you are worried about your life, whether you feel it's going nowhere or whether it's something more obvious like illness!!

  10. Dreaming of being killed or murdered reflects the insecure conscience you have.

Perhaps, lately you are feeling lack of support, and lack of control.  The images of being murdered symbolizes losing control in you.  This may come from stress,  in dream, being killed or at the edge of death does not only symbolize lack of control also hints that there is some disappointment or failure in you and that is why you vent it out in dream.

  11. Actually, dreams of being murdered can be very positive dreams. You may be simply going through the very different stages of life, i.e. graduating from high school, going off to college, getting married, having a child, going through a divorce, but it would seem that you are going through some really big changes or making some really big decisions at this time and the "old" you is being "murdered" because it doesn't exist anymore, therefore you are becoming a new or different you.

I know the dreams are kind of scary, but take a look at your waking life and see if this fits.

  12. Dreams of death are rarely literal.  Death in a dream is symbolic for change or transformation.  By the fact that you keep having them, I think it indicates that there are some big changes coming in your life.  Not necessarily BAD ones either!  Many changes are a blessing, although we often fight change because it is  unfamiliar.
