My whole life I have felt as though I am watching a movie of my life.

It gets so bad, I feel as though I'm an outsider looking in on a stranger's life. Do you have any idea as to what may be wrong with me?

  1. i believe what you are experiencing is dissociative disorder. You have to learn to forget about it or else you can concentrate on it so much that it makes you crazy. I use to have well i prably still do but i don't remember what is was even like to not be like this.

  2. yeah i get you

    I get that occasionally

I think you feel like your not taking an active role in your life

engage more with whats going on

sometimes taking a step back into that position can be an advantage

  3. Hmm...  It could be depersonalization disorder.  Here are some features of it:

    - Episodes of feeling detached from one's self or one's body or having a sense of unreality about one's surroundings

    - person may feel as if he or she were living in a dream or acting like a robot

    - episodes of depersonalization are persistent or recurrent and cause significant distress

It's normal to feel like this to an extent, but to always feel that way is not normal.  You could research it a bit more if that seems to be how you feel.  If it is,you might want to see someone about that.
