Why do I do this????

Question

Okay, I'll be fine for awhile, but I don't feel like my mom loves me. I feel like she loves my sister more. She always sides with my sister in fights and tells me to shut up. It makes me mad so I keep on smarting off, then I get grounded, and I beg till I get back on. It just makes me so mad she acts that way. She's embarrassing in public. Like she said 3 guys were looking at my butt, and then told them (COMPLETE strangers) if they looked at me like that again, they'd get their ***'s kicked. Why do I keep mouthing off though?

well most teenagers do this, most of the time without thinking. i do it too. we do i think bc we think now that we are older we think that we know everything. but we don't. we don't mean too its just our natural way lol. good luck

well it is completely natural for you to act this way..heck! i use to do it all the time!  but its always good to keep your boundary's since she is your mother..and she did give life to you..but all f this is just a way teens tend to act and am sure your mother loves you just as much as your sister..perhaps you don't pay attention to her when she tells you something? here's an url i found that can give you tips on how to deal with your buzzing mother!

You have complete and udder control over what you say and do.

Why ask others "why do I mouth off?" when the the problem in its entirety can be resolved by some internal reflection on your part?

No one MAKES you mouth off, sure people have certain things that will trigger them into saying things they regret, yet even this can be overcome with a little self-constraint.

Overall, it comes back to that oh so common (If not cliche) saying:

Think before you say.
