Why do I dream of movies?

In a lot of my dreams I dream of what seem like movies. Only sometimes am I in them, and my last one was two nights ago, I dreamed of a sequel of an actual movie I saw a long time ago, and I wasn't in in at all (the movie was Stand By Me). While I'm dreaming of the movie everything in the plot seems to make so much sense and it's like the best movie I've ever seen but when I wake up it doesn't make any sense whatsoever. I'm just confused as to why I get these? If anyone knows how or has a website linked to dreams like this (I've tried finding some but I can't). Also, I've had a lucid dream once (wasn't a movie), was about a week ago, and I've had reoccuring dreams, but when I was much younger. Just in case those are related : ) Thanks!

dreams are the windows to our subconscious minds. Maybe there is a connection to how you are feeling about something in your life. I love ' stand by me' especially the line " we sink , we swim, we rise or we fall together." Good luck with finding the meaning.
