  1. metabolism, what type of food you eat and genetics.

    your environment

  2. It is probably an age thing. I could eat like a horse and stay a UK size 8 until I was about 24.

You could have worms LOL - or a thyroid complaint. Get the doc to check and if there are no other health problems it is probably just one of those things. If you aren't ILL don't worry.

  3. It is just your natural design of a body. For me I avoid much food but i still get fat and now I have accepted my natural being and I am proud of myself.  so just be yourself and enjoy your food, but ofcourse balanced diet.

  4. Are you Young? I was like that when I was Young

  5. You may have a Tape worm.

  6. because u have a really fast metabolism (i dont kno how to spell it) which u r lucky for

  7. I don't know how much you are eating, or if you are male or female.. And I don't want to be a scaremonger!!!

    But:

If you are eating on average above 3000 Cal's a day as a male... or around 2000 as a female, with low-moderate exercise, and still gain no weight at all, or worse loose it... it may not be that you have a fast acting metabolism, but it could be you have an 'Over Active Thyroid'.

It maybe a good idea for you to go speak to your doctor, practise nurse, or dietitian and see what they have to say... after all, it is better to be safe than sorry.

  8. I can't put any weight on either! I lost a stone and a half at Chrimbo 'cos of a bad chinese and I still have a stone to put back on!!

  9. Because you one of the luckly people with a quick metabolism.

  10. When you measure your weight hold a bid stone in your hand. Wala, You are very heavy...

  11. salad with low cal dressing

  12. probably because of your metabolism.

  13. To gain weight you have to eat a lot. You're probably not eating enough.

  14. Depends what you eat, what exercise you get and how much brown fat you have!

  15. Could be a few things.

Maybe your young or active, maybe both of those things.  I hope so cos the only other reason is that your ill.

  16. If in doubt, get yourself checked out! Maybe you are just lucky, or have a fast metabolism!

  17. you have a fast matabilism, its not a bad thing, you should be greatfull,i have to count the calaries!

  18. I have the same problem. I asked a friend of my parents, and they said that it was because I was an active person.

  19. It depends on what you eat, how active you are, and what your basal metabolic rate is.

Weight gain occurs when you consume more calories than you expend in your activities.

If you eat a high mass of low-calorie foods (most crisp vegetables fall in this category; also, non-buttered popcorn and diet sodas), you may feel full but ingest fewer calories. The opposite is true for steak and fried foods.

If you are very active, you will burn more calories in a day, and so are able to (and are hungry for) higher caloric intake.

If your basal metabolic rate is high (ie, your body expends a lot of energy just resting) you will find that you need to eat more than someone with an average rate. This is most likely to happen if you are younger than 22, as you are still in a high growth phase.  This won't maintain forever, so enjoy it while it lasts.

  20. You got a good metabolism. It burns the calories really quick.
