My right hip has hurt for some time. It doesn't hurt when I walk or run, or put weight on it, but it hurts quite a bit when I twist to the left for any reason. Could it be bursitis?

  1. Sounds like a nerve is being pinched only when a muscle is being stretched a certain way, if it is localized, meaning you can literally put your finger exactly where it hurts you probably just need to see a chiropractic to have your hip put back in place, I have to have it done once or twice a year. If it is not localized, meaning you can't point to where it hurts because it's an area then you should go to a physician, preferably a sports injury specialist, even though this was not from playing sports, they have better knowledge of how to get you fixed!
