Why do I feel confident that I can fly in my dreams?

It started when I was young and I dreamt of people looking for me and I have to get away or else be caught. I used to be afraid of jumping from a high place in my dreams. Until I had dreams that I was flying and that I can fly. It was a struggle to learn how. Eveytime I dream of escaping from the enemies or anything I'm afraid of, I now feel confident about jumping from a high building or mountain since I knew that I can fly and because I knew from past experiences (although still a dream) that I can. It's like my dream identity remembers herself and what she went through. And it's not like I knew I was dreaming.

That is so fascinating!  Thanks for sharing!  I especially like that your dream self remembers and learns from past dream experiences . . . really wild!

I have like two dreams that recur - - - I am 47, and in one case I've probably had it over 20+ years.  It isn't the same dream actually. . . but occurs in the same place, something difference every time but the same familiary place.  Elements of the place I experienced last time I dreamt it will reappear in subsequent dreams.  At this point, after years. .  it is a pretty well-developed reality, with a lot of detail consistent over time.

I also wanted to mention that I have never dreamt of flying until very recently.  I was the only person in the dream who could.  And everyone was like going "Wow, how do you just take off like that?" and I was trying to teach them.  It was so easy!  Hilarious.  I had no fear at all, and it was very natural.  It's like I would take a big leap, and suddenly be 100 feet in the air hovering around at will.  I was disappointed to wake up and lose the ability. LOL

just remember... if you really could fly, you could do it from a flat surface. do you see birds,superman, and airplanes climbing to the top of a building for take-off?

Dreaming that you can fly means you are an independent person. Other people can never catch up to you because you are so free. Your confidence is high and your self esteem is high.

My guess is that you are a Virgo, first born, or an only child. You get great marks in school and you are a natural leader. You are an optimist who takes charge of your own life and you don’t let others talk you down once you have an idea in mind.
