Why do I feel like I'm a spectator in life, rather than a participant?

I've always felt that I'm closed off from the rest of the world. Like the world is thriving, living... with so many people doing so many interesting things, but I always get passed by. I'm always on the outside looking in. Like I'm watching the world go by but I can never participate in it.

Watching TV makes me depressed because I see all these people living these interesting lives, but I feel like I'm already dead.

  1. I feel the same way you do. You aren't alone at all, I would suggest throwing yourself into social situations, and fun things, as stupid as that might sound, if you keep doing it, your are going to see changes eventually.

  2. I understand how you feel. It seems like the whole world is having a blast and you are not allowed in some way. I am not sure of your particular situation, but you may want to talk to some one that can help you over come the feelings. or turn the tv  off and get out there and do something about it. We live in a world where any thing can be possible only if you try to make it that way. As for feeling the way you do I understand more than you know.

  3. i feel like that to, sometimes i cant even deal with my friends! just try a counselor see how that works out
