Whenever I run, after about 20-30 minutes I start feeling pain in the soles of my feet. Is this natural or is it caused by something like my type of shoes?

  1. Might be your shoes or you dont know good technique to running. Try not to bob your head when you run and also use your arms a good bit helps a lot.

Running on a hard surface doesnt help much look to run in a park or something instead of the street or sidewalk. Good luck and keep it up

Look at biking too its great and much better on your knees

  2. mostly it's caused by your shoes

and another factor is, your muscles are not ready yet

  3. Bad shoes

  4. shoes, foot problem, or possibly you just aren't used to running and running on grass might be a better choice if you aren't already

  5. Most likely your shoes. Bad shoes can cause all sorts of problems for runners such as shin splints, aching joints, foot problems like you have, or even stress fractures. You want to make sure you are getting the right amount of support and balance your body needs from your shoes. So I suggest heading up to your local running store, because the employees there know about running and the correct type of shoe to fit their clients with. They look at the way you stand, walk, and run, then decide what type of shoe is best for you. Also, tell them about your problems, so they will know how to fit you. I know it sounds stupid, but good shoes are the key to success, because they are apart of a plan to keep you injury free. So I definately suggest getting your shoes checked out.

  6. It is because of the type of sole your wearing, you probably don't have the support you need in the soles of your shoes, I say you going to a sports shop, that sellings running shoes, and ask for a assistance in picking you shoe. You can also check which type of arch you have, which might be the problem, you can wet your feet and then walk outside on the floor and see the imprint on the floor, to see what kind of arch you have, or you can ask a person at the sports shop to help you, then you will be able to get the support on your shoes that you need.

  7. it natural =D

we oftern have a struggle b/w the love of running and the pain it comes from it.

wear knee pads and get good running shoes. I suggest new balance.

  8. NOPE MAyBE YOUR OUT OF CHAPE U NOT USE TO RUN SO THAT HAPPENS ALOT .. DON'T WORRy KEEP THE RUNNiNg UP iS GOOD FOR YOUR HEART!!

  9. well ur gonna feel a little pain. first of all check that ur shoes are good go to a running store they will get u the shoes you neeed. then also make sure you are running on the balls of your feet and in the correct running form or its gonna hurt more. but keep going :)

  10. It depends on your overall health. Do you run all the time or is this something new? If it's not new then it could be your shoes. Try investing in a good running shoe. If you have to pay a little extra for the quality then do so. Don't immediately go running in new shoes. Break them in for a few days. Hopefully this helps, and if not see your GP.

  11. Because your out of shape

  12. It's possible that the support in the soles of your shoes has worn out. Have you ever gone to a running store and been properly fitted for shoes? I would suggest doing this, especially if you run regularly. Typically, you will end up paying over 100 dollars for a pair, but it will save you from injury and pain while you exercise. I've had one pair that I was fitted for and I have not worn another pair of running shoes since I got them.

  13. That's not natural. When you're running, the strain on your body should be mainly on your legs and chest. On the soles of your feet?

Either you have a bad running posture or there's something wrong with your shoes. I suggest you get new running shoes or take a look at your foot to see if there's any problems with it.

  14. I think it depends on the type of shoe you have. If you have an extremely thin shoe then when you run the pressure of you coming down on youre feet will hurt. That happens to me when I run without any shoes on outside. I would suggest get a NIKE running shoe. Remember NEVER get basketball shoes while running. If you turn you will trip and hurt you ankle.
