Why do I feel so empty??

Why do I feel so empty. I am 36 yrs old, married, brand new home, 6 yr old son. I should be happy. I am healthy, my child and husband healthy. I am not much of a complainer but I feel so unfulfilled. I feel like there's something I am supposed to do, but I don't know what. Anyone have any ideas??

  2. It maybe because you don't have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Only he can give us what we can't get from anybody else and from society. Which is love, joy, peace, hope and fulfilment. We humans are tripart. We have a soul, we are spirit and we live in a body. If we neglect our spiritual life then we tend to feel empty because by nature we are born spiritual people.

  3. could it be you miss.....out on social ladder and some career,why not take up some study,a new language or any other subject which interest you,maybe even psychology......I quess your kid and husband are very BUSY with their lives at work and school and for you its kinda only.....house and family,right so get busy yourself.COULD also be some pre-40 blues thing,as you get older its normal to ask yourself more,deeper questions but as long as you appreciate your life its ok,I quess to be married,I hope HAPPIILY with a child and living in a new house is what many women dream of you know....Im a single mum struggling to get by BUT I never feel empty,Im too busy living for this...

    people are in such a hurry to get to

    "the good life" that they often rush right past it.

    you however seem to have a good life

    though take it for granted possibly. you feel like

    you need to do more, but you don't have to. be lucky to

    have what you have take time to appreciate it

    and you will not fill so empty.

  5. Maybe a religion? Most people feel an emptiness inside, thus causing addictions, mid-life crises and a strong belief system. Your job is to figure out what's missing. Create a list of the things you want to do before you die, and then find a way to do them.

  6. meditate and find out who you are,somthing should come up

    say [who am i] for 3-4 days and see what happens.write down all the things you are not.
