Question:

Why do I get congested and sneeze like crazy after breakfast, no matter when I eat it?

No matter what time I eat my first meal of the day, I get completely congested and sneeze about 20 times. It's not painful, but really annoying. I've noticed it happens when I eat bread (white or wheat), sometimes with eggs, rarely with cottage cheese and fruit. My doctor just said it was "interesting," but didn't see the need to do tests since it is just an annoyance and not painful or continuous.

Anyone have any idea what might be the problem? Thanks!

  1. Perhaps gustatory rhinitis

  2. It's probably something to do with the food smell. It happens to me too!!
