Why do I get made fun of because I wanted to wait?

I decided that I had wanted to wait to have s*x til I was married. However when people find out i passed up the oppurtunity to have sexual realtions they make fun of me(particulary guys)? Did I do something wrong? I am constantly told that I am sweet and very good to my girlfriend btw. So its not like i am a jerk. So why make fun of me?

Boys will be boys...guys give eachother a hard time about anything and everything it seems like....stick to your decision and it will all be worth it in the end!
