I've noticed that occassionally after swimming, my eyes get quite red, tears run freely and it's quite irritating. It's particularly dangerous as I'm usually driving soon after! Any solutions?

  1. It's the chemicals in the water put there to protect you. Nothing you can do except stay out of the water. Maybe try some eye drops when you get out. That may help.

  2. The Ph level in the pool is most likely off if it is just happens at one pool .  There is nothing you can do about it other then go to another pool

  3. Wear goggles while swimming to prevent water treated with chlorine from getting into your eyes. You can also get an eye lotion to apply on your irritated eyes.

  4. Wear goggles, it's the chlorine in the water, It hurts a lot!

  5. cuz u open ur eyes in the water and your eyes become bloodshot. so ha ha for u.

  6. Its the chlorine, you need to get some googles, its important that you find a pair that are comfortable and fit you. I swim regularly and i find that zoggs and speedos are the best but its a completely personal thing. Hope this helps your problems x

  7. because you might have sensitive eyes

  8. It's the off balance of chemicals. That happens to me after water polo sometimes. Like it's foggy and you see rainbows around the lights. You can either hold a towel to your eyes with your eyes closed for five minutes (but sometimes that's not enough). Then you can buy an eyedropper or eyedrops and clean out your eyes with non-chemical water.

  9. Leader and Speedo goggles are the best goggles that keep the water out of your eyes in my opinion.

I use Leader goggles and they keep the water out,and they are very comfortable.
