Why do I get so jealous?! HELP!?

I have a wonderful boyfriend who I really love and who really loves me. We have so much fun together, we're best friends! So why do I feel jealous when one of my girls announces she is getting married? Is there anyone out there who has the same problem? It's driving me mad! I'm really happy in my life in general but when something good happens to someone I get jealous! HELP!

Because you feel that as your boyfriend has not asked you to marry him he hasn't truly decided that you are the one for him. You are worried that he may still be keeping his options open.

I can understand the way you feel and it's only fair that you let him know too. Maybe he's never really thought about it.

I guess its human nature to want to go to the next level in your relationship, in particular when you hear about your friends having beaten you to it!!!

I often feel jealous when I hear of things happening to my friends that havent happened to me - its not an emotion I want or even like, but I think we all have it within us - and theres no getting away from it!

Good that you noted your minus points. So you are the person can get rid of this. Only thing what i can tell is be helpful for others and patient. Any way this is not an abnormal thing. These are conman feeling with girls.

Heres the thing, it's kind of funny but my opinion is that when you have good friends and they start saying the married thing well then you want to get married too. Actually it's more like a race because there will always be a friend that will get married first and then your friends start to ask you and your partner when are you guys getting married? Then there will be some hesitation especially if your guy does not want to take that extra step yet, just don't bother being jealous though because like the phrase goes they save the best for last it:D It would be cool if you get married after all your friends do because you will have a whole bunch of ideas from their weddings, to do or what not to do blah blah blah.

im only in high school but i think its normal one of ur friends get married and u start thinking "well why hasnt he asked me" and then that makes u think but when the time is right u'll be married and then u wont be jealous anymore.     ( I WATCH ALOT OF TV lol )
