Is there a list of things I may be doing wrong? I am being blinded by the spray, is my ski too small or maybe I am not going fast enough? or too fast?

  1. rope length has nothing to do with it... if you are leaning too far forward you may get spray as you may with slower speed, try to go from side to side not just follow the boat, with decent speed you lean away from the boat thus the spray goes away from you.

  2. You should try leaning back. Also your rope my be too long. The longer the rope...the faster you need to go. Slack in the rope is good for no one so this should help.

  3. everyone does, its only a second, try ever so slightly leaning back  a little and increase boat speed at take off. HOLD ON
