Last night I drank Labatt Blue Light because it was $1 beer night at the bar. BIG mistake. I have a terrible headache. I never get a headache like this from Bud Light.

Labatt also tastes awaful.

  1. BAD 1 dollar beer

  2. It is bad form to contradict the asker, but I must. I grew up in Buffalo years ago, and Buffalo is the #1 source for Labatt's beer. It is the good stuff.

Now, their light beer… that stuff is vile. Odin is punishing you for drinking light beer.

Hangover and headache almost invariably comes from dehydration. Seriously, that really is what it is. Before you go to bed, when you are drunk, take a couple excedrin and drink a couple glasses of water. When you get up, if you still feel like ****, choke down some water and it'll pass soon. Yes, Labatt's light has less water in it than Bud light. That is a big part of the effect (Labatt's is also all from barley, Bud also uses rice when brewing - this has an effect).

Now on to $1 draft night. You are lucky. Cherish a place that will give you beer that cheap. The local watering hole back home upped their draft to $1.50. I die a little inside thinking about how much I spent in London this summer on warm beer.

  3. It is most likely the amount of alcohol and the lack of water in your body.  As long as you stay hydrated you shouldn't experience hangovers to such an extent.  That being said, anytime you drink a shiit load of beer, wine, liquor, whatever... You will have a bad hangover.  My roommate claims taking Benedryl after a night of drinking cures his hangover.  I tried and it didn't work.  The type of beer doesn't matter.  You can probably drink more LaSplats than a higher quality beer like Sierra Nevada or I don't know, I like Redhook's Long Hammer, which will increase your chance of serious hangover.  Either way you drink more than your bodies limit and you will feel it in the morning or afternoon the next day...

  4. because you're drunk off of  your willey

  5. From the carbonation that's in the beer.
