Now that he has bitten the hand that feeds him?

His biggest card was saying Obama has no experience,

Now in this game he has played he got rid of his best card

dealing himself a possibly fatal blow.

I see diehard McCain supporters saying Palin does have experience, defying the basic laws of physics that define experience as a function of time.

  1. Losing a family pet is tough for everyone. Your first inclination may be to buy the same exact type of cat or dog that your child previously owned, but that may not be the best idea as that will only serve as a constant reminder of their loss.

  2. Its mystifying how he blew it. But he did...he gambled and lost

  3. Palin is not running for president - she'll have plenty of time to learn her way around Capital Hill as McCain's VP.

Be very careful not to underestimate this lady.

  4. b/c you are 100% right!  No way McCain will win, and rightly so.  I have always voted dem. the reps. voted Bush in twice....need I say more?  It is our turn now step aside, the reps. have helped ruin this country for 8 years, no way it's going to be another 4

  5. Exactly. He can't use the only argument he had now. He's so stupid. He screwed himself and if he honestly think that choosing a woman will automatically get him the women's vote he's dumber than I thought.

Palin's speech at today's rally was just as boring as McCain, she doesn't seem exciting to me either. She is no Hilary at all.

  6. All this experience dialog does is bring to the forefront how little experience Obama actually has.  I love that experience has become the most important issue now that Palin was chosen.

  7. You did not support McCain anyway.

This play by McCain is wonderful. Anything that the Dems say about experience against Palin is only reflected in their candidate. They lose either way.

  8. The only thing that scares me is how WELL McCain is doing at this point. The Republicans haven't even had their convention and McCain is within a couple of points of Obama, instead of down by double digits like Republicans usually are at this point.

The Palin pick tells me that McCain is in this to win- he's not just going for 1 election but for the future of the Republican party.

  9. Republicans just don't get it. It has nothing to do with experience and everything to do with politics as usual. Palin is just a sapling off of the same diseased tree. Look at her record. It is just as appalling as Bush's. In California she would have been recalled the first week in office.

  10. That sinking feeling you have is reality setting in.  I'm an independent and I decided to throw all my weight behind the Democrats this year because of the last eight years of turmoil and economic trouble.  It's not just that every independent I know feels the same way, it's the depth of feeling that's doing in McCain and the remaining Republicans in Congress.  They smell too much of Bush for anyone to be enthusiastic about supporting them--that and they've broken too many promises on the budget, which has skyrocketed under Bush.
