I have a Hitachi HDC-571E camera, which the box said shoots to 5MP resolution. On the menus, I can choose the size from VGA up to 10M. What is 10M??

  1. It might do "interpolation" by "stretching" the image it sees to give a bigger megapixel file.

Stick with 5MP setting as that is what the sensor is.

  2. "10 mega pixels"

    Hope it helps!
