For 2 weeks I have been seeing a round circle moving around my right eyeball and everything looks blurry and wierd. I'm afraid I'm going blind.

  1. Go to the dr. because I had the same thing and it turned out to be an eye floater. Floaters can be caused from different eye diseases. If it is a floater caused from a disease and you don't get it assessed, it can cause blindness.

  2. Depending on your age, my best guess is a posterior vitreous detachment.  You can get a circular floater such as you have described.  It may be accompanied by a cobweb appearance, flashes of light, etc.  Generally it is benign and the floater will get smaller and less noticeable over time.  See this link for an image and explanation:  http://www.revoptom.com/HANDBOOK/sect5a....

Regardless, this merits a trip (sooner, rather than later) to the eye doctor to rule out more dangerous conditions such as retina detachment.

  3. I really think you should see an optician immediately because it could be a detached retina.

  4. It's likely a new benign floater, but you really should be checked by a doctor to rule out a retinal tear.
