Why do I have sexual fantasies about policemen?

Hi,

This is slightly embarrassing, but recently I have been having sexual fantasies about policemen and I don't know why. I don't even like police officers in general. I have been in contact with a few (not for any criminal matters) and some are arrogant and rude, though like all human beings, I was also in contact with some nice ones. I wanted to become a police officer but I don't met the criteria so instead I am studying law - is that why I like policemen so much - since I can't be a policewoman I fantasise about being being with policemen? Its troubling me because I can't think about any other men except policemen and when I police car goes by I can't help but stop and look and want to follow it while no one else cares. I would appreciate your opinions, especially if you are a women or even a male police officer.

hello, im no policeman but it sounds like just a little crush on police men. maybe it is because of your study in law. maybe its a little dream of yours to be a police person thats locked somewhere in your head. well i hope i helped. and its not that embarrassing to fantasize about them

maybe...  you feel like you need protection when it comes to relationships with men (read: s*x) and since you wanted to become a policewoman i assume that you idealize policemen as protectors (well, you surely don't have fantasise about the rude idiots you know). it could be that somwhere deep inside you feel insecure and seek protection in the arms of a policemen???

It isn't that they are policemen

its a fantasy about power and control, which police officers have

this is an extremely common fantasy to have, and usually relates to someone you feel has power or control over you in your life; teachers, bosses, police..etc

in your case your desire to be a police officer and seeing someone that is shows their success and power over you, causing the sexual fantasy....
