  1. Because you don't want to be the Traffic Watch guy for the rest of your natural friggin life and your local law enforcement pilots ain't retiring anytime soon.

  2. Becasue secretly you DO want to be one.  Search your feelings, you know it to be true.  You don't know the POWER of the rotary side!

Seriously, like me, you realize they are just plain old amazing machines, and keep rotary wing A&Ps well employed!

  3. Because you are afraid of the "jesus nut" breaking and you don't like how they fly low and slow and are the most susceptible to being shot down.

  4. Anti-grav saucers for me!

  5. Take a trial run in one just to see what it`s like and change your admiration into being one of them if it seems doable to you.

I share your admiration, one of these days I`ll follow my own advice. The money aspect has been keeping me from making this a reality.

  6. This sound like the cruiser - sport bike debate. Accomplishes nothing and proves even less.

  7. me both for life. throw in sailplanes too. man are you missin out.
