Why do I have this yellow ring in my eye?

Question

I got blue eyes, and in the center of the iris, between the outside of the pupil and outside of the iris, I have this rough yellow/gold ring that appears and disappears depending on my mood... Also if I look into a mirror looking for it, it fades into view... Anyone know why it does this, or what it is?? I think its cool, and I'd like to know exactly what it is.

it's from the sun.  i have them on both eyes.  i wear sunglasses consistently for the last couple of years and they have gone away slightly.

You have a psycological problem. You see things depending on your mood? Yikes. Not good. Go see a professional please, society does not need more crazy people.
