A while back I went to traffic court and it was for 3 cases in 1 and I had to come back because I plead not guilty. When I was heading to my car, I realized that there was only two case papers in my hand instead of the 3. When I went back up there everyone was gone, my guess is that the paper got lost lost in translation because they had maybe 15 to 20 people transfer to another courtroom because it was well over 50 people in the first one. I did appear to the courtroom and now I get a litlle paper in the mail telling me that because I didn't appear I have to pay a fine . And I just realized that the date will be up soon and it says if I don't pay it my license will be suspended. I don't find it fair that I have to pay for something when I did show up. The case was finally dropped... on all three cases... should I pay the fine? I don't know what to do!

  1. First don't ignore it, they will suspend your license and issue a warrant for your arrest.

Go back to court and request a hearing in front of the judge.

  2. 1.send registered letter explaining....include date u went...that u pleaded not guilty...that  .......THEY lost the paperwork...and copy's of whatever info you have...suggest that because you already have a court date 4 the other stuff how about putting them all together..give them all your contact info...dont wait till last minute... don't ask how i know...

  3. Huh ?  You answered 2 of the three charges and not the third charge ?  Your question is too vague and poorly stated to know what in the world you are asking.  Please re-state your question in understandable English so we can understand it and answer it.  If the case was dropped, why are you worrying ?  If it was dropped, why is there still a fine ?
