secure myself with a seat belt, have a car with air bags, safety glass, collapsable steering column, etc. And still pay outrageous insurance premimums, even though I have never been at fault in an accident. But people with motorcycles get to drive around with no helmets, no safety clothing requirements, loud pipes, and their insurance is nowhere near what I pay. I think their insurance should be ten times what a car owner pays. What do you think?

  1. First of all putting your child in a car safety seat is must /

it will protect the child from a sudden brake impact or hit by you on to other car or tree or some one may hit you while on the run.

Second is the insurance part first of all is that insurances are to cover you loss of vehical in case of hit/ means the cost it will take to get it repaired. Surly motorbikes are not that expensvie and parts for them reqruired for the repairs are also cheep in compare to cars.

  2. a) Because it's the law

    b) Because it IS safer for the children

It's the law in Missouri that you must have your child in a booster seat until they are a) 80lbs or b) 8 years old - some people do not know this law - or disregard it.  I just talked to a 5 year old who currently does not use a booster seat -

  3. You put your child in a car seat to protect them. As far as the rest of the rant.....a car can cause a lot more damage than a motorcycle and usually has more occupants. Safety clothing only does so much, loud pipes has nothing to do with any of this and most states have helmet laws. So...what do I think? I think you need a good relaxing vacation.

  4. Because of more and more socialism and big brother watching and dictating our every move.  You make a valid point.  I tend to agree with you.

This is just the tip of the iceberg.  Watch out if a liberal socialist like obammamamma is elected

  5. well first off a child needs to be in a safety seat because if you put them in the front seat with a seat belt, and the air bag engages, there is a good chance your child will be decapitated.  a child has a higher chance of coming out of a seat belt.  its all for their safety and benefit.

from anyone ive ever spoken with who owned a motorcycle they told me that insurance was no where near cheap.

it comes down to a lot, although your car has a lot of saftey features, it depends on where you live, what brand of car (how much that car has been stolen), even your credit.

insurance is not fair ill agree, ive never had a ticket or been in an accident and they still charge me a lot, and it has a lot to do with me living in south florida, where the accident rate is just outrageous.  in fact my ins. went up because of all the hurricanes we had a couple years ago.

they probably dont make it mandatory for motorcylce owners get ins. because they are a higher liability.

  6. The law was intended to protect little ones in the event of a car crash.

  7. It is what it is and unless you are going to go out and be the advocate for changing it, then whats it matter?

  8. w am i so stupid mmmm so they dont die in a car wreck oh my gosh use the seat
