  1. I have never heard of anything like that. Are you underage ? That could be it - or requesting a special honeymoon package

Still- regardless I have never heard of that and I have been an agent for 19 years

  2. Most hotels in Myrtle Beach require that at least 1 person in the group is 21 or older.

You two probably are not 21 yet, but they'll make an exception for married couples (and the only way to prove that is a marriage license).

  3. LOL

    That's rich.

    W T F ?

I personally would never stay at such a chain or work for such a chain. I've had to enforce some pretty off the wall and strict rules, but... I mean h**l, are they your parents? Who cares if you're married or not? It's none of their business nor should they give a darn. As long as you pay your bill, don't throw any parties, and don't do a bunch of drugs in the room, wtf does it matter?

My advise: Find another hotel and let me know which chain it is so I can know to never work for them. lol

  4. never heard of it.

  5. Maybe it's the rule of the individual franchisee that runs that hotel, or a local ordinance..? *shrug* I've never heard of that requirement for a hotel. What if it were two family members that needed a hotel room? That wouldn't make much sense.. See if other hotels in the area have that kind of practice or not.
