Why do I have to sign in everytime I turn on my pc?

yahoo has been my home page for years once an awhile used to have to sign . now everytime I get on the pc I have to sign on yahoo why?

Check your internet settings (enable cookies, etc) and when you sign in, make sure the "remember me" box is checked.

it's a matter of privacy and also a matter of safety to make you log in. in the name of this, they often change the policy regarding personal safety matter without notice to users.  

Another reason for this is that they need login data from users to follow their trails to capitalize their business form them, consider you often visit the Yahoo game site, then yahoo staff would like to know about when you usually get in or where you use the service from  in order to appeal to their clients who want to promote their businesses.
