  1. Go to this link

and beware who you tell this to. They will imprison you and give you a chemical lobotomy. The clown who just diagnoses you with 'schizophrenia' ought to be shot.

  2. Consult a psychiatrist ASAP.

  3. i have voices too.  although it puts my thoughts in words more than gives me third-party suggestions to do sonething i dont want to (which is a sign of schizofrenia)

i think it has to do with anxiety.

  4. Schizophrenia. When you hear then, calm down. Ignore them.

  5. If  I understand you correctly, this voice is not the normal kind of internal voice that we all have (or at least most of us have). Unless folks are really busy at work or school or whatever, many people are involved in some kind of daydream, which is usually in the form of inner voices or pictures.

You wrote that this just started a day or two ago. I wonder what this voice is "saying." I sincerely hope this voice is not telling you anything that could be harmful to yourself or to others. If so, you should probably get to your doctor (or a hospital) as soon as you can.

I also wonder if you have been more stressed out than usual lately, or if there has been some very difficult event in your life recently. In the last month or two, have you changed the dosage of your medication? Have you added a new medication?

So these are the two general areas to take a look at---if you have been more stressed out than usual or if you changed your medication. My personal experience is that external events or changes in my antidepressants can sometimes trigger bad reactions.

I suggest you contact your doctor to explain what is happening to you. Also, if you have a psychotherapist, it would be worthwhile to talk to him/her.

Sometime in the future, you might consider if you should see a different doctor for medication. I have fired a lot of doctors until I finally found one who was right for me. Also, there are many things in alternative medicine that might help a lot. If you are not in therapy, you might want to give it a try. It is always helpful to express your feelings to another person.

Best wishes to you. Send me an email if you have any questions.

  6. Is it a mental voice you normally hear or is it something that is different or new?

As long as the voice isn't making more sense than the people on the outside you should be ok.  Since you're taking antidepressants I'd mention that you're hearing voices, too.
