Why do I keep dreaming about him?

Almost every night I have a dream about Jonathan Taylor Thomas(my fave celeb and i "like" him) and my ex. it switches back and forth between them and it always something with dating or meeting Jonathan and with my ex its always flirting but i HATE my ex. So why do I keep dreaming about him?

The more you hate or like a person, the more they will stay in your memory/dreams since they will appear in your mind more. And if you really want to stop thinking/dreaming about your ex, don't make yourself hate him. Pretend he isn't there and not important and you will stop dreaming about him.

The celebrity represents your ideal (like, your fantasy). Your ex represents your reality. Your brain is trying to work out the emotions tied to each. Your dreams probably mean you are trying to disconnect from your ex by imagining yourself with your "ideal".
