Why do I keep dreaming about the last guy i was dating?

i was dating this one guy for sometime over 1 year and its been about a month since we haven't talk (i guess you can call it a break up or something i guess he meet someone new) I'm not really worried about it any more or sad like i was the first couple of days... but lately for the past week or so i keep having dream about him and it's really annoying. I'm moving on but when I have these dream I have to think about him again...Is there a way I can make myself stop having these stupid dreams about him?

because you still have some feelings for him and i think you should get back together again. try calling him and telling him  how much you feel about him or text him a message

I stop repetitive dreams like this by learning the lessons the dreams have to teach me.

I believe dreams are where the subconscious sorts the new input from day to day life and attempts to communicate the important stuff to the conscious mind. If you're dreaming about him, your subconscious is trying to tell you something, maybe before you repeat the same old mistakes in a new relationship.

Dreams are a window into your soul, according to Carl Jung.  The dreams indicate you're not over him in your subconscious mind, even though you may feel you are in your conscious.  There are some things you can do subconsciously to eradicate him.  Have you done meditation?  If you're interested in finding out more, let me know.
