  1. There's lots of different reasons as to why your nose keeps bleeding. The most common reason is a dry nose. I tend to get nosebleeds when I sleep near a heat vent or an air conditioner so I bought myself a humidifier and the problem was quickly solved. Another way to help it is to apply some Vaseline to the inside of your nostrils with a Q-Tip (I know...it sounds gross...and feels nasty too. That's why I spent money on a humidifier after a month of Vaseline-ing.) Other than that, it could be the air pressure change when you keep moving back and forth. My sister bled on an airplane like there was no tomorrow and my friend bled on our way to a club on a hot and steamy summer night.

There are other reasons to nosebleeds as well. High blood pressure, aspirin (interferes with blood clotting), infections, blood clotting disorders (very dangerous), smoking, holding in sneezes. Basically...all sorts of things.

You should only be worried about nosebleeds if its too frequent or caused by an injury (which could have torn a bigger artery up further than the normal small ones that usually cause nosebleeds.) In that case, your doctor would treat it with a cauterization (basically seals it with a burn). Watch out for nosebleeds lasting more than 15 minutes. Call a doctor or get yourself to an E.R.

The reason as to why you might be getting such frequent nosebleeds is that after it clots, you might have accidentally tore it back open by doing simple things like rubbing your nose, sneezing, blowing your nose, etc. I wouldn't worry too much.

(I'm not a doctor...but if I were you, I would talk to my physician. You can give them a call or visit them yourself and most likely, they'll give you a better answer than I can. If it is a symptom of a more serious illness, they'll catch it faster.)

  2. I have gotten them in the past bc of dry air - it is good to get a humidifier.

  3. I used to have that problem too.  I hated it!  Sometimes it would happen when the air was really dry.  Just a suggestion, maybe an air humidifier would help.....Good luck!!!!  :)

  4. Dry air will dry out your nasal tissues really bad. Indiana is allergy central, then you irritated it further by shaving cream up the nose.

Keep your nasal tissues moist with a nasal gel or spray (just saline)

It will get better in a few days.

  5. it could be because your nose is dry, or your capillaries in your nose are bursting since you were up in the mountains and there not used to the climate change, i would recommend you go to a local drug store(CVS) and get some nasal spray

  6. SHaving Creame. My brother gets them a lot when he drinks to much coke. (I know i guess it's the sugar) Just go to the doctor and check it out. He'll give you this spray or this creame

  7. it has to do with either the changing climate or the change in altitude. its not a big deal.

  8. u r going to different climates so ur body isn't us to the temperature also in the mountains is dry air.

  9. Sometimes it is your bloodpressure, it could also be alergies, dry air, sinus issues.clotting somewhere, have you changed medications? There are many reasons. Most importantly is that it stops, not running for hours....

  10. if u went in the mountains it is just an elevation issue, some people get dizzy some get nose bleeds its no big deal, they will stop eventually

  11.   get a saline solution nose spray

  12. Change of climate

  13. because its hot in south dokoda ive got a friend down here in kansas and when ever it gets to hot his nose starts to bleed

  14. u keep gettin nose bleeds cuz itsz from the envirnment

  15. allergies maybe....

  16. Change of climate. Your nose gets to dry, and it bleeds. Stay more then hydrated. I use to have that problem myself (in Wyoming) it is so dry here, and that is the cause of the nosebleeds.

  17. probably because the air is really dry. Don't worry, i get them every day lol

  18. My husband gets nose bleeds when he has a change of environment/weather. It is mostly the humidity. You can just be still "recovering" from the mountain air or, I live in South Dakota, and it is rather humid here now...it should stop.If not, contact a doctor.

  19. Well are you on any new medication? Especially for sinuses. A while ago I was on one of the medication you have to squeeze up your nose for sinuses and it caused many nose bleeds. Also in the mountains it could have been caused by the different altitudes. But when you where at a normal altitude it might have been very dry air which can cause the inside of your nose to dry out and crack. Then cause bleeding. Just check any medication you are taking...If any, just read the side effects list.

  20. Quit snorting cocaine.

  21. it could be the change of climate.

it could also be that one of your veins in your nose is close to the surface of your skin and gets irritated easily.

try putting some vaseline in your nose to keep it from drying out.

  22. pressure changes, i get them too, don't worry.  i dont get them that comon but when i dive into a swimming pool sometimes and when i just bang my nose.

  23. stop worrying about it and you wont get them
