I have had HPV for 7 years, everything I read says that after two years it should go away and be dormant for years. For the past 7 years I dont think Ive gone longer than 6 months without a wart. I usually only get one at a time and I get them treated right away, but why wont it go dormant for me!!??

    Human Papilloma Virus (HPV)

I’ve been getting a lot of cases as of recent pertaining to this alleged virus and decided the time is right for me to address this pathology. Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) is a so-called virus that is the cause of common warts that manifest on certain parts of the body, specifically the hands and feet. HPV is alleged to be the cause of lesions of the mucous membranes of the oral, anal, and genital cavities.

According to Western medical research and statistics, more than 50 types of HPV have been identified. A few of these types of HPV are said to be associated with cancerous and precancerous conditions.

According to Western medicine, the alleged virus can be transmitted through sexual contact and is frequently found in women with cancer of the cervix.

  2. Because you keep being "treated" for it, treatments aggrevate the virus, cause it to grow resistant to these "treatments" and multiply the virus, causing more hpv outbreaks. If you wouldnt have treated it, it would have probably went away on its own, now you have to live with warts forever, .because thats exactly the purpose of these "treatments", to make you live with the virus forever, so that you can keep paying for "treatments"

  3. the virus doesn't have to go dormant. your immune system has a lot to do with the course of your disease as well.

  4. Try to be healthy- eat right, exercize, sleep well, not too much stress etc.

  5. It all depends from person to person. I have some patients who never have an outbreak after their first time, others it could be years. First look at your life style. Are you sleeping enough? Eating healthy? Working out at least 20 minutes everyday? Also, stress and anxiety is a HUGE trigger. I suggest trying yoga to meditate and get some anxiety off your plate. Otherwise have your physician write you a prescription for a cream (I am blanking on the name) you only need a dime size and you apply it each night. But the most important thing is remove stress!
