Why do I keep having paranormal experiences?

I've always felt them but my first real experience experience was when I was about 5 or 6. I was in bed and looked out of my room and saw this bright blue glowing figure. There were no features to it but it was the perfect shape of a human.

A year or two later we were picking up my sister from a camp up north (i think Massachusetts?). We stayed in this beautiful old hotel. I was sleeping with my mother and I just remember the room scared the c**p out of me and I kept crying and refusing to fall asleep until my mom made me go sleep in another room with my brother and father. My very annoyed mother was complaining about me to the owner and she told my mom that someone was murdered in that room a long *** time ago.

I'm 18 now. The last 4 years everything has started to get worse. I have dreams about people dying that I don't even know and about once a month I'll see someone next to my bed. I see an old woman with her hair pulled in a bun, a hand reaching out to me with rings and a frilly sleeve, and an old man with a long beard and wavy hair. I see them sometimes during the day when I'm alone. They give me the creeps but I rarely feel uncomfortable. What's wrong with me?

  1. there really is nothing wrong with you. if you see them often then you should be a medium. if you have dreams on people you don't know and they die you probably dream about people that died a long time ago. have you ever tried to communicate with them? if they talk back then you must be a medium.

  2. you're fine, maybe just a little psychic.  use it to your advantage.

  3. There is nothing "wrong" with you. I've been to many notorious haunted places, with other people, and I don't experience anything. My friends have, always. So; what is wrong with ME?

If this bothers you though, try a mild tranquilizer, like Librium (10mg) You don't get all "tranquil", it just calms you down, to "normalcy". But happy!

  4. The dreams could be actual people and how they die. As for the woman and man, they're protecting you. Whether they're related to you and watching over you or old owners of the house and still hanging around, there isn't much way to know unless you can find a way to communicate with them. What I'm thinking is that you don't feel uncomfortable cuz they're not there to hurt you or harm you. Chances are they're looking after and protecting you. Do you see them in a mirror as a reflection or just straight out?? Either way, there's nothing wrong with you. It sounds like you have an odd connection to death and you can see spirits. Oh hey, the people you see dying- are they commiting suicide, or in car crashes, or you know all dying one way or diffrent ways? Are they all male or female? Is there a specific pattern? Try focusing on the people if you can remember anything, you might have known them in a previous life or something. As for the woman and man try talking to them and see if they'll talk back. If it seems like they're struggling to communicate concentrate on them harder. If you do not want them there, and you want them gone. Say out loud "You are not welcome here, stay away from me," and laws of the universe say they have to leave you alone.

  5. Hallucinatiaons and unexplained incidences doesn't necessarily mean "something's wrong with me". Human mind is designed to think. If it doesn't get cues from external environment, it builds up from the existing ones. It's a highly imaginative machine! And it's power lies in the sub-conscious.

It's well known that our mind knows more than we're aware of.

One needs to connect to his\her sub-conscious in order to organise and neutralize its functioning. So that it "sees" what the conscious wants it to "see".

Get early in the morning, take bath. Find an open place and sit cross legged. If that seems not possible you may use a chair. Be comfortable. With your right palm over the left, put them below the navel so that it rests on your legs. Close your eyes. Continue breathing in & out normally and watch your breath...inhale...exhale. Don't count, just watch yourself breathing. This whole process has a purpose. It's a part of Yog. It's essential purpose is to concentrate your energy in your conscious control, it also channels out the -ve energies. Further, it trains your mind towards a point called "Shooñya" or the absolute thoughtlessness. Where everything comes to an absolute still.

I can certainly say that you'll get to see a definite change within a week. Please do it not with a sense of compulsion or treatment. It's NOT a treatment as it assumes one's not "sick" but merely disconnected.

    Take care,

    Antrix.

  6. I think there might be something wrong with your brain. Since these types of things don't exist you could be hallucinating.

  7. Without doubt you're a medium with strong clairvoyant abilities. The reason why this is happening with increasing frequency has everything to do with the changes you've gone through during this period of time. Has that included the spiritual aspect of your life? Perhaps new insights or understanding? I don't mean going to church and the associated dogma specifically...I mean how you view the Universe and the unseen (to most people) world around you. One is never awakened until the time is right and if it is happening frequently, it's important that you make a decision - either you continue your life and try to disregard this part of it or explore your own abilities so you can obtain some peace of mind.

I've included a couple of links that helped me considerably...the first gives a brief explanation of psychic abilities, as well as some simple exercises to help develop them. The second link gives a brief description of what a spirit medium is and does and I think the information will resonate within you. It is written from the perspective of one who has strong clairsentient and clairaudient abilities but you should find it informative nonetheless.

The dreams you're having fall under a category known as prophetic. Sometimes they are indications of the future and other times from the past. To speculate which yours are is quite difficult until you can begin to understand how your particular gifts work. One thing is certain - you are able to obtain messages from your dreams and this may be a point of entry, so to speak, as far as finding what is really going on and what you're being shown. I am also a medium with clairvoyance as my main ability and mine works a little differently than yours but the following suggestion has proven to be exceptionally beneficial for me.

Before you lay down to sleep, address the apparitions and request that they communicate with you through your dream. What you experience may be somewhat unusual but it's important that you write down what you remember, as soon as you get up. It will likely be - judging from my own experiences - full of symbols that may not make immediate sense to you but log them anyway. It may take a few "dream quests" to obtain the information you seek. Pay close attention to any sudden urges...within reason - your guides will never suggest an action that will compromise your morals or ethics - that you normally wouldn't consider like a specific book store, calling up an old friend, taking a different route home etc. and remain aware as you do it. Partial answers serve to stimulate our curiosity to learn more.

If you're comfortable with the idea, you can also request help from your guides - I'd suggest your doctor teacher guide - the archangels and even the ascended masters. I've requested help from Kwan Yin to assist in a soul with finding the Light, which is something that your two visitors may need help with...and it is within your power to provide that help, if you take some time to learn how your abilities work. The main reason you feel a little weirded out by them is because it is unknown territory for you. You don't feel frightened in their presence so that should give you some indication that these entities are not malevolent or out to injure you.

I was awakened about 7 years ago, as a direct result of learning about astral projection but have spent only the last year or so devloping my mediumship abilities. I make no claim to be an expert but I have learned an incredible amount through trial and error, specifically working with my guides. Don't hesitate to email me. I'd be pleased to help any way that I can.

    Blessings.
