Why do I keep hearing that it is so bad in Berlin? what is in Berlin that is so bad?

Ummm I went last year in August by myself to Europe for the very first time and had no problem what so ever. I was staying at a youthful hostel and was going in and about very late at night. There is a lot of young people there. Trust me you will have a great time, that's why I'm going again in May!

Bad? Nothing is bad in Berlin! They have a high jobless rate there, but nothing is really bad there. It´s a very safe city!
