Question:

Why do I keep on having vivid dreams?

I had a dream about a whole episode on jerry Springer, it was weird, I can't remember completely but, they were beating each other, then jerry had his final thought, then I seen a cat get hit by a car and I woke up.

I think it might because I switched rooms, two big windows, street lights, sun glaring through them, can't sleep very well.

But don't dreams happen in deep sleep, then why do I have them only when I'm about to wake up?

  1. How do you fall asleep? If you sleep laying on your back its because you think before you sleep. Thinking about what, that depends on you. Maybe it was an episode you saw already or if during that day or earlier you had some sort of convo about a cat then car and in your dream they were randomly put together. It may not have a specific meaning or anything significant. and its normal to have vivid dream right before you wake up, maybe the strong sunlight just makes to clearer (the dream) because I personally sleep under a window and when i have those "morning dreams" same thing happens to me.

  2. My experience is that the most complex dreams occur just before awakening.  And they are always difficult to interpret.  Maybe they have no meaning or secret message at all.  But other times, we end up knowing that there is a kind of vague moral suggestion about something that has been perplexing us.
