Question:

Why do I keep waking up feeling really dehydrated?

For the past week, every time that I've woken up I've been feeling so thirsty! I don't understand where this has suddenly come from, as it's never really happened before. I keep perfectly well hydrated during the day (drinking AT LEAST the recommended daily amount) and I'm young and healthy. Any idea why it's started happening?

Thankyou!!

  1. Maybe you slept with your mouth open.  Maybe you snored from a very deep sleep.  Maybe you just had a very salty meal. It's a good idea to keep a bottle of water at the bedside. to quench your thirst.

Another reason you might have stayed in the sauna too long or stayed on the beach or under the sun too long. Did you know that soda drinks and coffee and beer are all diuretics and thus can make you feel  thirsty
