Why do I look nasty after sitting in the sun?

When ever I'm at the beach, I'll look good when i get there but my face turns all gross looking. Like I don't have a sunburn but my cheeks get all red and my eyes look all i like i just woke up, My freckles stand out and its just i dont know. I just don't like it. Does anyone else have similar problems?

It could be sweat on your skin which is making you look different.

The change in color is an indication of the bodies naturally defending itself from the effect of the sun.  Without the pigmentation of your skin, your skin would be damaged by the heat and radiation of the sun.
