Why do I loose Brush Tool Cursor in Adobe Photoshop CS2?

It just becomes small square sometimes even after I change the size of the cursor.

It will be great if you can help me out here.

Usually that happens when the Caps Lock key is activated in Photoshop, the brush becomes the small square instead of showing its actual size and form. Deactivating Caps lock should solve the problem.
