I live in New York City and to be able to watch regular network channels (NBC, ABC, etc.) I pretty much need to hook up to a cable tv service or it's just way too fuzzy/snowy to watch. I wonder, why is this? Is it because i live in a big city and there is so much interference?
Also, when the government makes the switch to digital signals, will this improve picture quality if you don't have cable? In other words, will you be able to watch network channels without having to subscribe to cable?
I realize I have asked a lot of questions here but thanks for reading.
