Question:

Why do I need to be happy to sing?

For some reason, the better mood I'm in, the better I can sing. If I'm pissed off about something, I can't sing. If I force myself to, it's not as good. Any advice to help me get over this, or does this have deep psychological roots that aren't going to be easy to overcome?

I'm an intense person who is easily effected by things that upset me. Sometimes it's just a bunch of little things that are bothering me.

Also note, some people sing better when they're upset.

  1. Simple basically, its just that when your in a better mood, you can sing more naturally, as your naturally a happy singer. Some people need sad emotion to get themselves going, you need happiness to sing.
