Why do I overheat so easily?

I can be sitting in a room, doing nothing, and everyone around me will say oh it's a tad warm but they are fine. I'm sitting there with sweat just pouring off me.

I feel fine, I don't feel ill. As far as I know, I'm not sick. But people around me say they aren't hot, but I'm sweating like crazy.

When I sit in front of a large fan going full blast on me, I'm fine, but people around me complain they are freezing.

I had my thyroid checked out twice in the last 6 weeks, both times I was told it was all normal. I even had my lympth nodes checked twice too. I was told they were fine too.

What could be wrong?

  1. Check your symptoms on Web MD, or better yet get a thorough physical.

  2. You might just be a warm-blooded person. I often find that I'm comfortable when other people feel that it's freezing. There's an article about staying cool in the summer in the source link. I hope that helps!

  3. Are you over weight? My mom overheats very easily and she is larger.
