Why do I see nothing about the so called "honor killings" that are happening in the USA?

NOW doesn't care about ordinary women. They never did. I'm really happy to see them becoming worthless old hags.

Honor killings are few and far between thank goodness. It's a clash of cultures and the perps go to jail like any other murderer.

This is a very sore spot with me....NOW started complaining and campaigning as far back as 2000 on this issue....they finally got REP JERROLD NADLER  a democrat from NY to introduce to congress H.R. 362 in June of 2000 on just this issue...as everything else you know where that bill is and what happened...I have seen NOW at court cases for the woman in my state who was killed by her father....but, the papers are more interested in printing about the JOLIE-PITT twins and new BATMAN movies than they are on the rights of Muslim women in the United  States. I am familiar with another case in my state,and we found  it  very hard to educate women of the Muslim faith when this is a belief to them and not a crime....but I do agree with you, I know it happens more than I ever see in the papers, and not enough is being done.

That is their religion and way of life. If the muslim women don't like it, become un-muslim.  I think it horrid that they kill their women like that.  If they are here in the US, they should expect the kids to want to be more American.  They send them to American schools so what do these men expect?  They should expect to be found guilty by our courts if they do this kind of c**p.  If they don't want to abide by the rules here, go away and practice your barbarousness someplace that will accept it.  It's like domestic violence. If the women let it happen over and over then they have to take the consequences.

the killers are being treated like anyother murder suspect.

there was an honor killing in Warren Co Ohio recently, the father is being tried for 1st degree murder and if convicted will join his daughter.
