Question:

Why do I sneeze so much?

I have noticed, along with my friends and family, that I sneeze a lot more than the average sneezer, about once an hour. It doesn't bother me or anything, I'm just curious as to why I would sneeze as often as I do and if excessive sneezing can be a symptom of or can lead to an illness. I have been sneezing this much for 1+ years, its not like I have a cold or anything. Thanks. Also, 90% of the sneezes are spontaneous, I have just enough time to instinctively plug my nose (everyone tells me I'm going to blow out my eardrums) and often my hand doesn't make it to my nose in time. My sneezes are so powerful, that whenever I try to sneeze into my sleeve, my booger backfires and lands on my glasses, or in the case that I am not wearing my glasses, it dangles from my eyebrow. I've had some pretty hilarious sneezes.

  1. What is happening is your nose hairs are growing and causing itching in your nose which is why you sneeze.  Okay it could also be the allergens getting caught on your nose hairs making you sneeze, you could try pulling out your nose hairs.  Start with the long ones and then see it that helps.  If it doesn't then maybe there is something else you can do.
