Why do I sometimes feel that I try my hardest but get no where?

I've always been a HUGE athletic guy, I have a heart problem and it doesn't stop me from getting to the next level, but I always think that I try my hardest, I give it my best, but get no where. I also have a list of goals I write every night and I check them off and stuff but most of the time I got no support from no one in my family, they're always agaisnt what I wanna do, I got a love for any sport and my parents usually don't agree so I gotta do it myself.

My dad is a mess right now and a shame, I don't feel like typing what he does but I hate it how he always wants to pick fights with me for no reason, and my mom is always sad and tired, my sisters like usual don't care and the only person I trust is god, and my good friends, but even they sometimes dissapoint me alot. What can I do?

Thanks.

  1. You sound like a remarkable young man. Make those lists of goals and share them with God. You don't have to go it alone. He will carry you even when you're not weak. Continue to trust in him, and keep those good friends around you. Sometimes God and a few close buds become the family you need. Distance yourself from fighting with your father. Ask your mom if you can be there for her(open up to her, she needs you now more than ever)! Let your sisters be teenage girls...texting is not a food group girls.

God bless you. Keep your chin up. Joni

  2. Well to start, keep the one thing you've got going for you,

    1. Your athletics - You can take it to the next level, I know you can, don't let the heart problem set you back.

    2. God - If he's the person you look up to and trust, so be it, we need this in life to feel completely stable at our most tough times.

You can also try to get a psychologist to talk to them, or talk to your coach if you're on a team or talk to some other people about this stuff, maybe someones got some ideas on how to help you see through the darkness and take hold of the light.

I'm sorry I can't help you through this completely but I know you can do this.
