I usually wear a wristband during the day, and take it off when I get back home..whats strange is that after a while it still feels like I'm wearing it even though I may have taken it off a few hours ago!

Why does this occur?

  1. because of your nerves.

when something is on your wrist the entire day, once you take it off there are still these chemical signals floating around in your wrist from when you were wearing it. they cause your nerves to fire up and the result is that you feel like you're still wearing the wristband.

  2. Maybe the wristband is tight around your wrist causing it to leave an imprint. Your skin still feels it because of that. Don't worry. That happens to me all the time.

  3. Because you care. What is it for- Live Aid?

  4. phantom nerve senses, am guessing the nerves that feel the band then become aware of the atmosphere and air around it, maybe it just reads it backwards, insted of sensing nothing is touching it but air, insted it feels that all that is touching it is air.

  5. I was wondering the same thing only with like my gym bag and backpack. I take it off and it feels like it's still on.
