After showering following a workout, I notice that I sweat more than I did during the workout. I dont normally sweat profusely (i.e. sweaty palms, drenched dress shirts, etc...). I'm just talking about after my post-workout shower. If I had to hypothesize, I'd say its some kind of osmotic effect, but I'd like to hear from someone who can describe whats really going on.

  1. Perhaps you don't allow yourself enough time to cool off after your work out. Do that first and then hit the showers.

  2. Next time drink some cold water to help cool your core body temperature; wait maybe 15 mintues and you should be OK

  3. I also experience this. I started to shower in tepid water longer so my body can cool off. It works so, you might want to try that.......... )
