Why do I temporarily lose my internet connection when I am at a certain location?

Question

Whenever I use my computer in combination to my wireless router, a lot of times I get one of two problems: one, I can't access some websites whether it'd be yahoo or facebook or two, just doing absolutely nothing and the end result to both of these is me losing internet connection for about 10 minutes. The thing is no other computer in my house has this kind of problem and I have no problems when I use my school's wireless internet. Can someone please tell me what is wrong? I don't think I have a virus and I am using a gateway.

very strange... I have a gateway desktop and it just dropps connection sometimes or stalls like... I also use a router.

My sony laptop and my sons acer laptop never drops. Must be gateway..
