Why do Indian restaurants have the same typical headings on their menu?

Like "Seafood Legend" (is it really legendary?), and "Chicken Specialty" (as if the beef or lamb dishes aren't special enough?).

And does anyone actually order from the "Western Cuisine" section?

  1. Hi it must be an American thing ... keep it simple

Here in Great Britain the Asian/Indian restaurants tell you like it is ! about the range of fabulous foods from India and the subcontinent.

I bet you eat stuff from Mac Donalds and think its a restaurant ha ha ha ha

  2. You must go to the cheap ones.  The restaurants I visit are not like that.  I wouldn't even eat in an Indian that had a Western / European cuisine section on the menu.

  3. IT IS because they are spending all their time being "imaginative" on the food not what to call it or the place?

  4. They're hoping that by using fancy names you won't notice that the food tastes like ****.
