  1. Because anti-corruption bureaus are very weak in India. Those are very strong in Arab nations & Iran, definitely. Media, judiciary & Indian films too are responsible. New clean literature shortage is there in India.

  2. I always blame people for this. They only made government servants & politicians involve in corruption.

This people wants things to be done. So they give bribe to government employees.

They want to construct building in unapproved land and they want to do illegal business. So they need politicians help. So they give bribe to them.

Because of the people corruption mentality only this country has been not developed.

  3. India is no exception to the rule.Greasing palms to get your work done expeditiously is a way of life.Better resign yourself to this basic fact of life in India. And don't tell me that where you come from, everyone is squeeky clean and there is no corruption. No one would believe you .And if you yourself believe it then you are only fooling yourself.Have a Nice Day.

  4. Corruption is everywhere and it is rampant in capitalistic & democratic form of government.

Corruption is a cycle that gains momentum incessantly unless it is uprooted or checked ruthlessly. The question is,- who will curb it? Government or citizen, jointly or severally? I think a government is the mirror of the character of citizen. If citizen collectively or unilaterally does not indulge corruption no government has the guts to opt for corruption. All we show honesty in public life but at material time most of us can not stick to it. Plenty & poverty equally transgress law for bread & butter and collectively all we are within it. Any individual or small groups of people can not impead corruption at this stage because of its huge strength and most disconcerting fact is that if any government tries to check it, it will be toppled forthwith.

  5. There is no accountability. Corrupt people go scot free.

  6. Bacause the people would only know what was learned from another.... some don't think that even the buffalo had a sense of direction that the people would pray for and hurt for them as food.

  7. people need their work to be completed immediately and so they gave bribes earlier. But now the condition is work will be done if only bribe is given!!!

As they sow, they want to reap.....

  8. As the saying goes "You reap as you Sow". It is We, The People who are responsible for corruption.

Corrupution comes about when the greed for money, exceeds the will to be sincere.  But when an individual has to borrow lakhs of rupees to grease the palm of a Politician to secure a job, what option does he have to repay the money that he has borrowed, if not for bribes? Then it is the Domino Effect, which snowballs into a racket, as the person gets addicted.

It is not only Indians, but Corruption is a virus which has beset the most of the countries the world over. This disease must be dealt with on the same lines of a murder, because it really murders the sopirit of the country in which we live.

  9. Dear, Indians dont indulge government but government indulge Indian citizens in corruption.  It is government burocrarcy, stringent laws, taxation policy, permit raj, red tapism, etc. which is responsible for corruption.

  10. I will admit that we have a bigger problem in this area than many other nations. One of the reasons could be that a living wage was never offered in India for any employment or any talent or skill  was never rewarded adequetly.Hopefully that is changing and will result in less bribery and corruption. Also with the level of education rising there will be more accountability at all levels.
