What a ridiculous question.

I know a few Italians in Italy  and not one of them has a "mullet" and their hair isn't greasy, and my 3 brothers  & cousins do not wear a mullet either (Italian-Americans).  Are you sure you aren't just stereotyping Italians?  

I will say that some do wear their hair longer, but this is not a typical mullet ala Billy Ray Cyrus.  Ask better questions.

I do see many many Italian youths with this questionable hair style.  A lot of girls here have short short greasy hair that does resemble a mullet.  I dont know what they see in this, but i agree is awful. I think its funny all the italians that say they have never seen this on the street because you'd have to be blind not to. However, this seems to be an adolescent trend and once they hit 25, italian hairstyles return to the glamorous styles you would expect. I do think you are not very smart to include "are you complete morons" in your question. C'mon you gotta try to respect other cultures, even if your complaining

Dude have you actually ever been to italy. I don't know anyone in my family or that I have ever seen when I visited Italy sporting a mullet!

It was probably glamorized in their media - if not through tv and movie stars, more than likely through fashion magazines or even copying their worst-dressed-horrible-hairdo neighbor who always seems to have women around!

p.s. Let's hope it's just a short-lived "Hair of the 50's and 80's" fad.

most mullet styles are self-administered for frugality, so they can't see behind them to cut the back.

At least that's how they look to me.

Well prejudism and biased aren't you.  Do you know every Italian to be able to say that as fact?  I am sure you would find some with and some without....just like there are some "white" guys I have seen with mullets.  Why are you being a moron?  That I think is the better question.

Hey dude, come here in Italy, I'll pay you the vacation if you are able to find people like that. But if you are saying about Italian-American, I'm sorry for them. Here, Grease and Saturday night fever are quiet ridiculous films. Ciao. LOL
